Kopp's Kritters is the brain child of Linda Bishop. Her love of animals leads to this endeavor with the approval and support of her loving husband Tom Kopp. Linda Bishop is a native Athenian. She received her B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia in 1986. The summer after college she did archaeology field work in Middle Georgia. After working many years for UGA in a non-educational capacity she decided to quit the rat race and start Kopp's Kritters.
Presently she runs Kopp's Kritters and is on the Coile Middle School FFA Advisory Committee.
Previously she was involved with the Clarke County School District's Adopt-A-Class, the ASP and the PSP programs, and substitute teacher. She has been involved with Athens Toastmasters Club 1779, Athens Area Habitat for Humanity and The Native American Cultural Society.
Kopp's Kritters evolved from our love of animals. After we married in 2005, I decided to start an educational program with my parrots. This evolved into the mobile petting zoo we now own and enjoy. The pleasure we recieve from taking our animals around for others to enjoy and learn about is unbelievable.
